Case Study Idea:

It gave me the idea to think about how
I have done some research in the past
about all kinds of Survey's you can
find online, and also discovered about
Focus Groups that do studies.

Also from Blogging you can learn
new things,

Infact I can offer you a little Case Study
about a specific Service Page that could
use a little fixing up, you can read about
some of the improvements I made.

With a Blog, there are Lot's of 'Metrics'
You can have look at like
for example things like:

* Readers Engagement

- Comments & Replies
- Linking to Resources; Service Pages,
Other Blogposts, Other Blogs

* Search Engine Rankings
* Brand Recognition
* Amount of Traffic To Your Blog
* Amount of Coverage by Media
and on other Blogs

- Amount of
Submissions & Publications.

* Industry Recognition
* Etc. etc.

Writing Secret Page,
It wasn't very cleanly designed, and rather Haphazardly
Linking to a very big variety of Links,
with apart from the info about

the Secret to Writing
Success it also had an awful lot of
other links, to a great number of
different other places.

So I made some Notes about it
in my practical Note Taker Notebook

and I counted:

ca. 24 Text Links to (Service) Pages
ca. 12 Text Links directly to Products
Ca. 10 Text Links to Blog posts.

10 Image links to several Books, (and even some
Magazines that I actually got published in
that I now moved to the About Page.)

1 Banner link about Bestselling Magazines.

even some broken-links.

More Focus:

In other words something that could use
some improvement.

As you can see here above you could
find 10 image links to several Books,

Now it's limited to half the amount
of Books, to only 5 Books.

Some of the things I redesigned:

* reduced the amount of Links.

(It might even be reduced
a little more)

* migrated some content to some of
the other Service Pages.

It can be interesting to
get to learn about what you think,
and learn from your
your Comments & Replies.
