Here below you can read some
more about some interesting
developments in the
Greeting Card Market,

I was wondering if there still is
any demand for actual Greeting Cards to begin with.

Since recently a local Greeting Card Shop closed
it's doors, and also when I looked at some of the
Cards in a Book Shop they didn't seem to have
that many interesting looking cards....,

Than I discovered that you could see lot's of
Racks outside the shop with lot's of cards,
also in Supermarkets.

Greeting Card Markets

After reading a little more about
Greeting Card Writing, I can report you about
some interesting general developments,

Besides people buying
Christmas Cards...,

It also seem to indicate that the demand
for Greeting Cards might actually
be pretty steady, and as far as I understand
there probably will also be (especially
in the Everyday Category) an actual
increase in demand.

Emerging Markets

There seem to be emerging all kinds of
new Sentiments & Occasions to address in
especially the - Everyday Category -

While there are some developments that
seem to have a negative influence on sales,
there also are a several positive influences.

Innovations

Like for example Innovations like Music
Electronics in Cards and things like LED Lights,

As far as I understand there also actually is an
increase in the number of Publishers, Sales Outlets,
and also Online Distribution

(such as being able
to send eCards)

And while you might think that
eCards would be able to spoil the Market for
'Printed' Greeting Cards, it appears that it
also actually has a positive influence.

Also Greeting Cards can be a possible
alternative for expensive gifts.
