Some years ago in a writers forum I wrote a threat
about Getting Readers Feedback.
(BTW that thread got a rather good
amount of readers feedback.)
There I discovered there seems to be a great demand for
negativity, people really seem to feel great
about being negative.
They don't seem to like new ideas and different approaches
to writing other than the ones they know, and other than
'It is supposed to be.'
Aren't they just missing the whole point of the art of writing?
Writing as a way to offer insight into other worlds, offer new
insights and new view points?
So what - you - think is an important purpose for
writing? Or are important purposes to Writing?
To Entertain readers? to explain new ideas?
to share news worthy items? to share negativity
and rants? to make people laugh?
