Thinking About Some of The Writers Inspiration I Got from Comic Book Writers.....,

As you know I am Journaling  almost every day.....,  and to Continue with Exploring my (Writers) Origin Stories, Recently I Wrote about my (Writers) Origing Stories, in a Blogpost Titled: A Fun Way To Work on Luck.... And Now I realise that (Besides the Search for Luck) there also are some other Influences that help shape my writing. for example (Besides SF Writer Ray Bradbury) I do think that I must also have been given some Inspiration for writing by Comic Book Writers. Like for example René Goscinny writer from Asterix and Hergé from Kuifje (Tintin) and obviously Willy van der Steen from Suske & Wiske. (Spike and Suzy (UK) or Willy and Wanda (VS)) with those great 'Story Formats' with a Professor with a Time-Machine ! That's somewhat like Just as with for example Star trek  Exploring Worlds, and also with other Science Fiction ! Also Discover Science Fiction On our MOVIE-Blog ! (A Genre that I like)

I also created all kinds of  Cartoon Characters  (you can now discover as Designs on Products in our Webstore(s))  also for example a Dog Cartoon  with the Idea to Possibly one day make something like Comic Books myself someday! Only to actually make Comeplete Story Books, Seemed to be somewhat to Complicated to achieve at that time. (also Needing to Invest Time & Money in Producing Comic Strips, getting accepted by Publishers, Publishing actual Comic Books  etc. etc.)  So I mainly aimed at just making 1-page stories, Gag-Strips, or funny One Image Cartoons, instead, I Now Do My Own - (Online) Publishing - as You Can See ! 👀 (On Multiple Pages !)  You can See  Several of my Cartoon Drawings,  Cartoon Characters  for - ON - Products I Created   in our Webstore(s) at this Very Moment !  Sitting Dog Cartoon Customizable Sketch Notebook by EdelhertDesignStudio

To Continue my Post(s) about my (Writers) Origin Stories; Thinking About Some of The Writers Inspiration I Got from Comic Book Writers, and A Fun Way To Work On Luck....., Besides Story Elements like a Professor with a Time Machine, also reveal my facination for 'Special Times, Special Worlds' where the Stories take place. As Promised I would eleborate a little more about my Recent Visit to The Open Podium  again....,  This time some familiar faces,  and this time One of the Writers told  about her (first) Experience  of having had  a Book Presentation and an other Writer told about her New Book and Announcing her,    Upcoming Book Presentation  I also Seen Book Presentation, Invitations,   Reminding me that I Frequently made (Cartoon) Designs for things like Party Invitations, Event Invitations, Entery Tickets etc. etc.

Looking for Possible Similarities, in the (Writing) Origin Stories

As you will know Recently, 
I have (several times already) been to

the Libraries Open Podium, a Place where you see Presentations, Performances from (Prize Winning) and Published Authors...., 

Because of these I got to think more about my own relationship with Writing, and thought about my own 

(Writing) Origin Stories,

In my Recent Post about    (Writing) Origin Stories, I was wondering about Possible Similarities,  there might be in (Writing) Origin Stories And indeed I read about Some having Won Contests Making me realise that  (while in a different way) I also  besides Regularly Submitting my  Creative Photography  for  Photo Contests  also Regularly Submit Work for other  - Creative Contests - like WRITING Contests aswell, for example through Short-Term Writing Assignments like  Also Writing and Submitting for - WRITING - Contests,  Slogan Contests, and things like  Readers Letters that Get Published, and other  (Short-Term) Writing Assignments Like for Example things like Writing Blogposts, Product Descriptions for the - Product Pages - in Our Online Webstores ! also Writing messages, announcements for our Twitter (X) Tweets, and TEXTS for our Post - & Greeting Cards Designs,  I even tried my hand on  Songwriting ! ;)  (You Can See/Read More about Songwriting   on ourMUSIC-Blog!)

This Morning I went to another Open Pudium with Several Writers Reading their Work, and Talking about their Work(s)..., and this time there also was another (February) Edition from the Anniversary Hand-out with Stories from several of the Writers. After the Break there was one Speaker, Performer, Writer, Reading/telling about his Work, and  Making Music, giving a Singing and Guitar Performance aswell ! In the Previous Open Podium we also had Music (with rather special Music Instruments) Chances are that I will also Write some more about that Music, on my Music Blog in the Future.

That had me thinking about things like: (My Own) (Writing) Origin Stories, Origin Sources and I came up with for example Creative Contest like Writing - & Slogan Contests, and things like: - Winning - Readers Letters that get Published ! I also Experimented  with Writing  for Publicatieons  like Magazines !

(Writing) Origin Stories,

In my Recent Post about Writing Origin Stories - that I became Inspired to Write after Writing My Posts about the Open Podium Event Visit - also Ignited the Idea to Look for Possible 'Origin Sources', that (might have) Played a Role in my Writing developement I already determined some (possible) Origin Sources, like for example: Things like  (Writing)  Contests

Party Time Collection by EdelhertDesignStudio at first mainly things like my Cartoon Designs,  combined with Written Texts Also things like Writing  TRAVEL-Stories, on Travel-Blog(s) (that as I (Re) Discovered) begun some years ago in June 2005 till April 2007 and that Continued into a more  General Travel Blog with General Travel Info /  Travel Stories  (that I also Created a Blog for) with also more things like Travel Photography and Video's etc. I also WRITE for General  Journaling  those all are also some of those Origin Scources that come to mind. And Just as I discovered old Cartoon Drawings, that I reworked  to New Designs, I also discovered things like (several Creatively Made) things like our Special  - CARD - Designs  Like  (Party) Invitations,  Announcements, Menu Cards, Birthday Cards etc. etc.

Thinking About My Writing Origin Stories !

As you will know Recently, 
I have (several times already) been to

the Libraries Open Podium, a Place where you see Presentations, Performances from (Prize Winning) and Published Authors...., 

Because of these I got to think more about my own relationship with Writing, and thought about my own 

(Writing) Origin Stories,

I am especially interested in how - they - all started writing. Than making me also thinking 

about how - I Myself - started with Writing 

and also Looking for Possible Similarities....?

While I do have some General notion about how I started with Writing, I also realise 

that I haven't really thought about a specific 'Origin Story', 

it feels more like there must be 

Multiple Origin Stories, 

I do think that there are several Area's that seem to 'Pop-up' as Possible 

'Origin Souces' for my Writing. 

One of them - for example - has to do with the Joy of Travel 

and Correspondence, 

To Write About Travels, and inform Friends and Family 

Sharing Such type of Stories, 

 I also created a 

TRAVEL-Blog for it.

Also the idea to Write about things like MUSIC & MOVIES,
are things that come to mind. (did You Know 

I also Happen to have a MUSIC - & MOVIES-Blog....?)

and for what MUSIC is concerned I realise that for it 

I also do JOURNALING 

in eg a MUSIC-Journal to Jot down Ideas etc. etc....,

 

The Open Podium Writers Event, I Have Been To, Still Thinking about the Experience....

As mentioned before, I read the Program and The Special Anniversary Hand-out with (Five) Stories from Authors. I also Read all the Author's Bio's to get an idea about the Authors Backrounds, how - they - started writing etc. etc. I am still in the Process of Thinking about this Experience....

I Also Read the Open Podium Program, and (Special Fifth Anniversary) Hand-out with Several Texts from Authors/Members.

The Libraries Open Podium, is a Place where you see Presentations, Performances from (Prize Winning) and Published Authors....,

(Writing) Origin Stories,

As You will Know, we recently went to the 

Open Podium in the Library, 

organised by the Writers Circle Gooi & Vecht 

 It was also a - Fifth Anniversary - !

and because of it, besides a Paper with the 

- Open Podium Program -

- that I Now (Re)-read as Promised - 

We all also got a few pages Hand-out with several Texts from Authors/Members, to (better) get to know the authors and their texts.

Yesterday evening I read all the texts in 

this Special Fifth Anniversary Hand-out, and 

on their Site, I Discovered 

that they also Published Some Works

in an Anthology SKGV as you can read in

This Post on their Site.

Writing More About the Open Podium On this Blog Soon....?

The Libraries Open Podium, is a Place where you see Presentations, Performances from (Prize Winning) and Published Authors...., 

Because of these I got to think more about my own relationship with Writing, and thought about my own 

(Writing) Origin Stories,

I Expected to Write some more about this

Open Podium at the Library Sooner...,

Only since 

I also have lot's of other 

Creative activities going on,

and we currently also Participate in things like
Our Daily Tweets on - X - - with

things like Photo Challenges etc. etc.

(and also even things like Creating VIDEO's

for our YouTube Channel 

for example!)

and since there also was Music During the Open Podium,
I might also also put in a Music Angle on it aswell,

So what I am going to do is Read the Program from the Open Podium again....,

and look if I get Inspiration for an interesting New Blogpost Sooner than you think...?
